Green Place was one of the first shops in Amsterdam to carry a serious range of branded Californian strains.
Calling them the market leader may be going too far, but they’re still known for one of the best Cali selections in the city. Next to that, they offer a sharply priced range for anyone who doesn’t need the label. So you can choose between paying for the brand and paying for the smoke. The shop on the Kloveniersburgwal sits close to the Nieuwmarkt. You can take a table out front with a view of the square, which is a real pleasure on a good day. Inside, there’s a back room where you can sit as well. The second shop, on the Haarlemmerstraat, is smaller but still has some seating.
