What is terpinolene?

Terpinolene is a terpene, one of the aromatic compounds plants make. It smells like this: fresh and herbal, a little piney. The group it belongs to has a turpentine-like note. Cannabis is one of the plants that makes it.

Where else you meet it

The related terpinenes are found in tea tree, cumin and coriander.

What it is used for

Mainly to give a pleasant odour to industrial fluids, and in perfume and flavouring.

In a coffeeshop

How much of it a jar has depends on the plant, how it was grown, dried and cured, and how long the jar has been open. We do not promise anything about what it does for you. We can show you the strains whose write-ups describe this smell.
