Space cake: slow to start, long to stay

Space cake is cannabis baked into something sweet, and coffeeshops sell it as cakes, brownies, cookies and gummies. There is no standard strength. A small slice in one shop can be a whole evening in another, and the amount of THC isn't always printed on it. Ask the person at the counter how strong it is and how much a first-timer should eat. The honest answer is usually “less than you think”.

The mistake nearly everyone makes is the one in entry 28: it takes 45 to 90 minutes to start, nothing seems to happen, and a second piece goes down. Then both arrive together. Eat a small piece with some food, wait at least two hours, and only then decide about more. Plan the evening around it: no bike, no driving (see entry 10), and nothing you have to be sharp for.
